With only 24 hours to go on the enrollment period for Brand Together—my new brand building course for entrepreneurs—I thought I’d put together a straight-to-the-point Q&A including all of the most common and pertinent questions I’ve received.

This program is both brand new and completely unique, so I want to make sure that you are completely clear on how it works, what’s involved, and the incredible value it offers for entrepreneurs like yourself.

Let’s get right into it:


How many people will be in the group?

While I can’t give an exact answer, I will ensure that the group is limited to no more than 20 participants. This intimate setting is essential so that you get just the right amount of attention from me and the other participants.


How much interaction will we get with you?

You will be responsible for all of the coursework, with the exception of the brand identity, but I will be guiding you every step of the way. We will have scheduled one-on-one calls as well as live group Q&A calls, and I will be checking into our Facebook group daily to provide feedback and answer questions.


How important is the schedule?

Very! It is important that you complete the coursework on the schedule provided to get the best results. You will have lifetime access to the course materials, but my design time is set to specific dates so that I can provide you with the best outcomes. You’ll need to be on track with the initial course modules in order to have an awesome experience.

Why spread the course out over several months?

My people are busy. You have families and partners and careers that you are already devoting your attention to, so I want to make sure that you have enough time and space to complete all of the coursework and get started right way. Getting the best results possible will require some time and effort, and I want to do everything in my power to help you along.

I am really stuck on marketing, sales and building my email list. Can you help me with that?

Brand Together is not a business course, so it is not the place to get that type of guidance. It’s my belief that none of those things matter if you don’t have a solid brand in place. I also feel strongly that having a solid brand foundation will make all of those things—marketing, sales, etc.—much much easier. So for our purposes, we are going to focus solely on three topics: brand clarity, brand identity and online presence.

What if I already have a website?

That’s OK! You can start from scratch if you want, but it’s not required. Either way, we’re going to focus more on high level concepts than nuts and bolts, so the knowledge you will gain will enable you to create something brand new or make adjustments to what you already have in place.

Why Squarespace?

Squarespace is super user-friendly, especially for non-designers and developers. You will be able to create a beautiful and functional site without having to worry about things like implementing code and setting up hosting. That will free you up to focus on making sure your message is clear and your site is easy to use so that your customers and clients will want to stick around.

I am currently using WordPress. What if I don’t want to switch platforms?

You don’t have to! As mentioned above, most of the concepts I will be teaching apply to all websites on all platforms, so you can put them to use on any content management system. I have plenty of WordPress experience, so I will do my best to answer any WordPress-related questions that come up.

What about SEO? Will we learn about that?

We will touch on SEO, but it is such a broad topic that you won’t get an extensive education in it. My focus will be to emphasize high level concepts throughout the course—ones that will take you further and provide more value. My philosophy is that it is more important for you to ensure things like clear messaging and a consistent, user-friendly site experience, so that once you get eyes on your brand, your customers stay engaged.

What if I have technical questions about my site?

I will provide you with as much technical knowledge as you need to complete the course. If you have questions or issues that fall outside the curriculum, I will do my best to point you in the right direction.

What if I’m not ready to launch my site on schedule?

That’s OK! The website module comes last so there is more flexibility as to when you are fully up and running. You will continue to have full access to the course materials after our time together has ended, so you can launch whenever you are ready.
